DOM Inspector

DOM Inspector is a tool that can be used to inspect and edit the live DOM of any web document or XUL application.

DOMi was created by Mozilla back in the early days of the Mozilla Suite to make inspecting the Document Object Model of XUL and HTML easier. Once Mozilla lost interest in the classical tool it came under the care of the SeaMonkey Project but with the quickly evaporating XUL presence in Mozilla's codebase and with the advent of the Unified XUL Platform it became necessary to soft-fork the project for use with UXP Applications for which it is still considered an essential tool.

DOM Inspector is a "Toolkit"/"Overlay" Extension requiring a XUL enabled application specifically old versions of Mozilla-based applications or current UXP-based applications like Pale Moon or Basilisk. It is avaiable on their add-ons sites which you will find direct links in the second block of the sidebar to the right of this page.
